A headshot is often the first impression people have of you, especially in a professional context. A polished and professional headshot can convey competence, approachability, and confidence. It signifies that you take your business seriously and is a key element of your personal branding.

If, like many of us, you are not a fan of having your photo taken, this is an opportunity to use the skills of a professional who will pose and light you in a flattering way to get the best picture. At Artis we make sure you feel very relaxed and comfortable so you can see that in the photos.

A maximum of around 8 people for a team shot, but as many as you like if you are all getting individual headshots.

However, as we know your time is precious, it might be easier for us to come to you.

We can bring one of our studio lights and use a plain background in your office to give you a similar look. They will likely be head and shoulders shots and not have the same variety of poses and backgrounds as you can achieve in the studio.

Pick clothing you feel comfortable and confident in. If you feel great in a suit, then go for it - if you tend to go more casual for work settings then embrace that. For the personal branding shoot you would have the opportunity to bring a few outfits to try out.

The colours you choose should compliment your brand - you don’t want to be in a bright red dress if your website is in all pastel tones.

Avoid big logos as these are distracting and can date a photo.

Try to avoid a lot of complicated patterns or jewellery, this can look quite chaotic in the images. Simple necklaces, earrings or watches can really add class to a photo.

Yes, and its done very subtly but things like stray hairs, creases in shirts, spots or wrinkles are toned away so you don’t notice them. We like to say we make you look like yourself on your best day!

With a headshot shoot we send you the final images from selection within 24 hours. Usually the other shoots are within 2-3 days, depending on the amount of images you have ordered. We can always fast track one if you have an urgent need for it.

It is not a problem. We are very understanding that you have busy lives and sometimes meetings come up that you can’t get out of. We just ask for as much notice as possible and we can usually accommodate moving you to a different date.

We take a booking fee to reserve your spot which can be moved to a new date. It is non-refundable if you cancel with less than 48 hours notice.
